Proper pool table lighting is essential to making your game or hobby room a place to relax and enjoy your free time. Some of these setups will cost over $2000 where as some of the more modern styles might run you only a couple of hundred dollars. If you are looking at wrought iron or wood, you may find them in a price range somewhere in the middle of those two.

Neon lighting is definitely a popular choice for pool lighting at home. Depending on the brand it will range from about $25 to $900. I think the best thing about it is that it gives you even light over a longer distance rather than spot lighting. They also have various colors with cooler tones than traditional bulbs.

If you ask me, the best about pool table lighting is the variety and simplicity of being able to change to another style if you become discontent with it. You don’t even need to go to a billiards store to buy the lighting because many home improvement stores carry the same thing. In fact you may even save hundreds of dollars by going to a home improvement store.
